Hi,
I have always been a designer, creative, and artist in one capacity or another. Throughout my career, I have worn many hats. From Art Director, Web Developer, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, or Crafter. Each “hat” challenged me to grow, learn, and reinvent myself. For me, change is a necessary constant, a way to enrich my life and evolve.
After a short contract as a Course Developer working alongside an Instructional Design team, I became fascinated with Instructional Design. I decided to go back to school and obtain an MA in eLearning.
Instructional Design was the perfect marriage of analysis and design; however, the purely creative aspect was sorely missing.
After 12 years as an Instructional Designer, I leaped faith and decided to branch into UI Design. UI Design has enabled me to focus on that analytical component that has become my day-to-day as an Instructional Designer and delve back into the creativity that I craved. I am ready for my next challenge!
In my spare time, I enjoy repurposing old furniture and trash into art objects. I am an avid trail and ultra-distance runner. I am also a certified diver. Diving is a great way to explore and travel, which is another passion of mine.
